Overview
A QR-code based student attendance system with real-time analytics, automated email notifications and an AI chatbot for student queries.
The problem
Traditional attendance systems are slow, prone to errors and open to proxy attendance. Lecturers lose class time recording who is present, and reports take days to compile.
The solution
SajiliFlow replaces manual registers with QR-code scanning. Students scan a unique session code with their phones, attendance is recorded in real time, duplicates are prevented, and reports and email notifications are generated automatically.
Technical approach
A Django application on MySQL. Each class session generates a time-limited QR token, scans are validated on the server and duplicates are rejected through session tokens. Offline scans sync when connectivity returns. Reports and email notifications are generated automatically, and role-based access separates administrators, lecturers and students.
